September 13th, 1944. The official reception of the new Commando de Cluny by the municipality and the resistance committee at the Jacques d’Amboise palace. Captain Laurent Bazot and Commander Tiburce are appointed Citizens of Cluny.
Non-commissioned officers of the 1e Compagnie of the 4e Bataillon de Choc at the Rouffach officer training school with Captain du Chaffaut.



August 11th, 1945. One year after the first anniversary of the Battle of Cluny with the maquisards and the 4e Bataillion de Choc. 
On the square, you can see the ruins of the abbey hotel and the Simoneau factory. 
June 30th, 1945 – Captain Fruitier, a veteran of the First World War, leads the 3e Compagnie. The battalion, returning to Alsace, parades in Thann.
