Operation Claymore
Commandos, Norwegian Independent Company 1
Five hundred men from No. 3 Commando and No. 4 Commando, 52 Norwegians of the Norwegian Independent Company 1 and a Royal Engineers section. Their mission is to destroy the fish oil industry on the Lofoten Islands, Norway.

Operazione Suda
Xa Flottiglia MAS
Raid on Suda Bay, Crete. Destroyers Francesco Crispi and Quintino Sella, each carrying three Motoscafo Turismo Mocificato and their crew.

Two Motoscafo Turismo Mocificato’s hit the H.M.S. York amidships. The ship was beached to prevent its loss but later scuttled by its crew. The Tanker Pericles was severely damaged and settled on the bottom. The ship sunk in april 1941. Another tanker and the cargo ship were also sunk. Two Motoscafo Turismo Mocificato’s missed their target. One of the missed targets was the Cruiser Coventry. All six of crew members survived but are captured.
