The Allied had almost no specialised equipment in the beginning of the war. Like the units they copied a lot from the equipment the specialised Axis Forces used. Halfway the war the Allied development of the specialised equipment came to full steam. Especially when the United States joined the war, a lot of equipment became available and was adjusted to the specific tasks of Specialised Forces that had been raised by then.
