The success of World War 2 Special Forces operations was due in no small part to the exceptional leadership of their commanders. These leaders, chosen for their ability to think creatively, adapt to changing situations and make quick, informed decisions. They were often required to work with limited resources, under extremely challenging conditions and in constant danger.
